Attitude of students towards plagiarism.

چکیده
The recent report on attitude of students towards plagiarism is very interesting [1]. Badea-Voiculescu reported that “general attitude of medical students within the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova was a positive one towards the idea of plagiarism [1].” In fact, the positive attitude is a good sign. The good attitudes are common findings among medical students around the world [1–2]. However, the remained question is why the problem of plagiarism is still existed. If the students have good attitudes, why the problems are still performed? The “practice” should be directly affected by attitude. However, some factors might modify and deviate “good attitude” from its target, “good practice”. The “model” seems to be an important factor to be discussed. Sometimes, plagiarisms are practiced by a senior academic or administrative staff and there is no punishment for them and this can be bad model for the junior students.
