چکیده

Results are presented for nuclear motion calculations on D:, HzD+ and the van der Waals compiex ArCO in rotationally excited states. These calculations are performed using a two-step variational procedure which allows large ro-vibrational interactions (Coriolis couplings) to be treated accurately. The difficulty of assigning states in systems such as HzD+ where the Coriolis interactions are large is illustrated and the limitations of effective Hamiltonians derived from perturbation theory discussed.

Prediction of RO Membrane Performances by Use of Adaptive Network-Based Fuzzy Interference Systems

This study aims to develop an Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference System technique (ANFIS) and using the parameters of a complex mathematical model in the RO membrane performances. The ANFIS was constructed by using a subtractive clustering method to generate initial fuzzy inference systems. The model trained by 70% of the data set and then its validity is examined by remained 30% data set. ...

Quantum Calculation of Inelastic Co Collisions with H. Iii. Rate Coefficients for Ro-vibrational Transitions

We present calculated rate coefficients for ro-vibrational transitions of CO in collisions with H atoms for a gas temperature range of 10 K „ T „ 3000 K, based on the recent three-dimensional ab initio H–CO interaction potential of Song et al. Rate coefficients for ro-vibrational v j v j 1, 0 30 0, – = =  ¢ = ¢ transitions were obtained from scattering cross sections previously computed with t...

Quantum scattering calculations for ro-vibrational de-excitation of CO by hydrogen atoms.

We present quantum-mechanical scattering calculations for ro-vibrational relaxation of carbon monoxide (CO) in collision with hydrogen atoms. Collisional cross sections of CO ro-vibrational transitions from v = 1, j = 0 - 30 to v' = 0, j' are calculated using the close coupling method for collision energies between 0.1 and 15,000 cm(-1) based on the three-dimensional potential energy surface of...

High-resolution spectroscopy and the analysis of ro-vibrational transitions of molecules in solid parahydrogen

Solid parahydrogen provides a novel matrix for isolation spectroscopy of atoms and molecules. Ro-vibrational motion of molecules embedded in solid parahydrogen is well quantized on account of the weak interactions in the crystal and of the softness of the crystal being characteristic of quantum crystals. Most of the observed spectral linewidths are one or two orders of magnitude sharper than th...

A quasi-classical trajectory study of the OH + SO reaction: the role of ro-vibrational energy.

A study of the OH + SO → H + SO2 reaction using a quasi-classical trajectory method is presented with the aim of investigating the role of the ro-vibrational energy of the reactants in the reactivity. The calculations were carried out using a previously reported global potential energy surface for HSO2((2)A). Different initial conditions with one and both reactants ro-vibrationally excited were...
