چکیده
This paper presents an UWB low noise amplifier (LNA) based on current reused topology to achieve low power on overall circuit in the band of 3~16GHz. Measurement of the input and output reflection coefficient S11, S22 are less than 10 dB, the maximum amplifier gain S21 gives 9.7dB, the minimum of the noise figure is 4.2dB, the measured IIP3 is 8.5dBm at 6GHz. It consumes 11mW power consumption from 1.1-V supply voltage. This chip was implemented by TSMC 0.18μm 1P6M process. This paper presents research on a low power CMOS UWB LNA based on a cascoded common source and current-reused topology. A systematic approach for the design procedure from narrow band to UWB is developed and discussed in detail. The power reduction can be achieved by using body biased technique and current-reused topology. The optimum width of the major transistor device M1 is determined by the...
متن کاملA Transformer Noise-Canceling Ultra-Wideband CMOS Low-Noise Amplifier
Previously reported wideband CMOS low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) have difficulty in achieving both wideband input impedance matching and low noise performance at low power consumption and low supply voltage. We present a transformer noise-canceling wideband CMOS LNA based on a common-gate topology. The transformer, composed of the input and shunt-peaking inductors, partly cancels the noise origina...
