Ik 2009

چکیده
This year’s IK attracted 179 participants to its traditional location at the HeinrichLübke Haus in Günne at Lake Möhne. We were a good mix of researchers from Bachelor to Professor level, coming from more than ten countries, with diverse backgrounds from cognitive science, neuroscience, computer science, mathematics, psychology, music and philosophy. We had in common an open mindset and the desire to expand our knowledge horizon beyond our own field of research. The venue provided the ideal atmosphere for intense learning, stimulating conversations over the many opportunities to consume food or the relaxed drink, and for socializing during the vibrant nightlife. In fact the IK has built a special relationship with the Heinrich-Lübke Haus over the years, so that we were given many priviledges such as an open self-serve bar and unrestricted access to everything we needed, and we were catered a very special evening dinner. It is a pure place with almost complete lack of internet access, which turned out to be a great feature.

متن کاملEffect of alpha-cypermethrin and theta-cypermethrin on delayed rectifier potassium currents in rat hippocampal neurons.
Cypermethrin is a photostable synthetic pyrethroid and the most widely used Type II pyrethroid pesticide. The effects of two different stereoisomers of cypermethrin insecticides, alpha-cypermethrin and theta-cypermethrin, on the delayed rectifier potassium current (IK) in hippocampal neurons of rat, were studied using whole-cell patch clamp technique. Alpha-cypermethrin and theta-cypermethrin d...
متن کاملIntegrative Physiology Estrogen Contributes to Gender Differences in Mouse Ventricular Repolarization
Rationale: Fast-transient outward K (Ito,f) and ultrarapid delayed rectifier K currents (IK,slow, also known as IKur) contribute to mouse cardiac repolarization. Gender studies on these currents have reported conflicting results. Objective: Key missing information in these studies is the estral stage of the animals. We revisited gender-related differences in K currents, taking into consideratio...
متن کاملhospholipase C-mediated inhibition of the M-potassium current by uscarinic-receptor activation in the vestibular primary-afferent eurons of the rat
The activation of the efferent vestibular systemmodifies the basal discharge and the dynamic response of primary-afferent neurons to headmotion and gravitational stimuli. The efferent input to afferent neurons is mediated primarily by cholinergic synapses that activate both muscarinic and nicotinic receptors. Previously we had shown that themuscarinic-acetylcholine-receptor (mAChR) activationmo...
متن کاملInvestigation of the Stability via Shadowing Property
The shadowing property is to find an exact solution to an iterated map that remains close to an approximate solution. In this article, using shadowing property, we show the stability of the following equation in normed group: 4n−2Cn/2−1rf ∑n j 1 xj/r n ∑ ik∈{0,1}, ∑n k 1 ik n/2 r2f ∑n i 1 −1 ik xi/r 4n·n−2Cn/2−1 ∑n i 1 f xi , where n ≥ 2, r ∈ R r2 / n and f is a mapping. And we prove that the e...
