چکیده
25 Background: An outbreak of dengue occurred in Yunnan province with more than 26 2,000 infected cases from August to November of the past 2013. To characterize this 27 DENV prevalence in Dehong prefecture of Yunnan and explore its origin, 28 phylogenetic and evolutionary analysis on the DENV strains collected from local 29 patients and imported travelers were performed comparatively. 30 Methods: A total of 41 dengue positive serum samples were randomly collected from 31 these dengue positive travelers who entered China at Ruili port and local dengue fever 32 patients in Dehong prefecture of Yunnan Province, China. Envelope (E) Gene of 33 DENV was amplified and sequenced. Their genotypes distribution and evolutionary 34 characteristics were elucidated clearly by phylogenetic and bayesian analysis. 35 Results: Phylogenetically, all the collected 41 dengue positive samples could be 36 classified into Genotype I (43.9%) of serotype DENV-1 and Asian I genotype (56.1%) 37 of DENV-2 serotype. The DENV strains derived from local patients and cross border 38 travelers were scattered in this two clusters equally. And these may imply this local 43 dengue outbreak was caused by newly imported infection from neighboring country 44 Myanmar. 45 46 Key worlds: dengue, outbreak, Phylogenetic analysis, Bayesian analysis, imported 47 infection. 48

Phylogenetic analysis of dengue virus reveals the high relatedness between imported and local strains during the 2013 dengue outbreak in Yunnan, China: a retrospective analysis
BACKGROUND An outbreak of dengue virus (DENV) occurred in Yunnan province. More than 2,000 individuals were infected from August to November 2013. In this study, we aimed to characterize the origin and prevalence of DENV in Dehong prefecture of Yunnan province using phylogenetic and evolutionary analyses of DENV strains collected from local patients and foreign travelers. METHODS A total of 4...
متن کاملPhylogenetic Analysis of Aedes aegypti Based on Mitochondrial ND4 Gene Sequences in Almadinah, Saudi Arabia
Background: Aedes aegypti is the main vector of the yellow fever and dengue virus. This mosquito has become the major indirect cause of morbidity and mortality of the human worldwide. Dengue virus activity has been reported recently in the western areas of Saudi Arabia. There is no vaccine for dengue virus until now, and the control of the disease depends on the control of the vector. Objectiv...

Background: Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne disease which is not known to be endemic in Iran. Case Report: In October 2015, a 32-year-old Iranian woman was admitted with acute unexplained high-grade fever, headache, pain, rash, diarrhea, leukopenia and elevated liver enzymes after returning from India. Serological and molecular analysis for Dengue virus (DENV) infection revealed positive ...

Dengue is a vector-borne disease caused by dengue virus. According to the recent report of CDC that one-third population of the world are at high risk with Dengue fever. The prevalence of the dengue hemorrhagic fever was found more in tropical and sub-tropical regions of the world. Aedes mosquitoes was reported as the main cause of transmission of dengue virus. So the current study was planned ...
