Space Travel : A Symposium Introduction

چکیده
To start off, I would like to show two diagrams (Figs. 1 and 2) showing evidence of man's approach toward space. The first is the time-worn graph of altitude achievement plotted chronologically. Note the break-through produced by the advent of rocket propulsion. The dotted lines represent that portion of the achievements which have been reported at times in various news media but have never been confirmed.
