چکیده
In this paper, we present performance analysis of algorithmic noisetolerance (ANT) techniques. First, we analyze the predictor and 'RPR based ANT schemes. Next, we present a hybrid ANT scheme :which is resilient to burst errors usually occurring in a high softerror rate (Per) region. For a frequency selective FIR Pltering, it is shown that simulation results match well with the analytic bounds while providing about 40 dB improvement in the mean square er'ror over a conventional DSP system at a Per = It is also &shown that the proposed hybrid ANT scheme maintains its robustness in noise mitigation even in the high soft-error rate region of upto P,, =

Experimental Evaluation of Algorithmic Effort Estimation Models using Projects Clustering
One of the most important aspects of software project management is the estimation of cost and time required for running information system. Therefore, software managers try to carry estimation based on behavior, properties, and project restrictions. Software cost estimation refers to the process of development requirement prediction of software system. Various kinds of effort estimation patter...
متن کاملLow-power Signal Processing via Error-cancellation
We present an algorithmic noise-tolerance (ANT) technique for designing low-power DSP systems. The proposed technique achieves substantial energy savings via voltage overscaling, whereby the supply voltage is scaled beyond the minimum supply voltage Vdd−crit at which the architecture operates correctly for a given throughput specification. The resulting input-dependent soft errors are corrected...

In this paper, we propose a framework for low-energy digital signal processing (DSP), where the supply voltage is scaled beyond the critical voltage imposed by the requirement to match the critical path delay to the throughput. This deliberate introduction of input-dependent errors leads to degradation in the algorithmic performance, which is compensated for via algorithmic noise-tolerance (ANT...
متن کاملParallel Genetic Algorithm Using Algorithmic Skeleton
Algorithmic skeleton has received attention as an efficient method of parallel programming in recent years. Using the method, the programmer can implement parallel programs easily. In this study, a set of efficient algorithmic skeletons is introduced for use in implementing parallel genetic algorithm (PGA).A performance modelis derived for each skeleton that makes the comparison of skeletons po...
متن کاملA Low-power Digital Filter IC via Soft DSP f
In this paper we present an integrated circuit implementation of a soft DSP based low-power digital filter in 0.35pm, 3.3V CMOS process. Soft DSP is a low-power technique that employs voltage overscaling (VOS) and algorithmic noise-tolerance (ANT) to push the limits of energy-efficiency beyond that achievable by voltage scaling alone. VOS refers. to scaling the supply voltage beyond the limit i...
