Akroyd (2) reported discontinuous electrophoresis On polyacrylamide gel slab, which alleviates many of the difficulties of the rod. We llave considerably modified and simplified the electrophoresis on a gel slab so that many samples can be easily processed in one day with a resolution equal to that obtained in polyacrylamide rod.
