چکیده

Assume 〈א0,א1〉 → 〈λ, λ +〉. Assume M is a model of a first order theory T of cardinality at most λ+ in a vocabulary L(T ) of cardinality ≤ λ. Let N be a model with the same vocabulary. Let ∆ be a set of first order formulas in L(T ) and let D be a regular filter on λ. Then M is ∆-embeddable into the reduced power N /D, provided that every ∆-existential formula true in M is true also in N . We obtain the following corollary: for M as above and D a regular ultrafilter over λ, M/D is λ++-universal. Our second result is as follows: For i < μ letMi and Ni be elementarily equivalent models of a vocabulary which has has cardinality ≤ λ. Suppose D is a regular filter on μ and 〈א0,א1〉 → 〈λ, λ +〉 holds. We show that then the second player has a winning strategy in the Ehrenfeucht-Fraisse game of length λ+ on ∏ iMi/D and ∏ iNi/D. This yields the following corollary: Assume GCH and λ regular (or just 〈א0,א1〉 → 〈λ, λ +〉 and 2 = λ+). For L, Mi and Ni be as above, if D is a regular filter on λ, then ∏ iMi/D ∼= ∏ iNi/D. Regular Fat and Reduced Fat Dairy Products Show Similar Associations with Markers of Adolescent Cardiometabolic Health.

Reduced fat dairy products are generally recommended for adults and children over the age of two years. However, emerging evidence suggests that dairy fat may not have detrimental health effects. We aimed to investigate prospective associations between consumption of regular versus reduced fat dairy products and cardiometabolic risk factors from early to late adolescence. In the West Australian...

Vibration Analysis of Global Near-regular Mechanical Systems

Some near-regular mechanical systems involve global deviations from their corresponding regular system. Despite extensive research on vibration analysis (eigensolution) of regular and local near-regular mechanical systems, the literature on vibration analysis of global near-regular mechanical systems is scant. In this paper, a method for vibration analysis of such systems was developed using Kr...

Impact of low alcohol verbal descriptors on perceived strength: An experimental study

OBJECTIVES Low alcohol labels are a set of labels that carry descriptors such as 'low' or 'lighter' to denote alcohol content in beverages. There is growing interest from policymakers and producers in lower strength alcohol products. However, there is a lack of evidence on how the general population perceives verbal descriptors of strength. The present research examines consumers' perceptions o...

Impact of government’s policies on competition of two closed-loop and regular supply chains

With progressing technologies and new features of production, new products compete with older ones in markets. Indeed, new products initiate contest with olden ones and this process repeats in different productions lifetime several times. In this situation recycling the olden products seems to be significant for supply chains. Governments often levy special tariffs for these products as a contr...

Semigroups with inverse skeletons and Zappa-Sz$acute{rm e}$p products

The aim of this paper is to study semigroups possessing $E$-regular elements, where an element $a$ of a semigroup $S$ is {em $E$-regular} if $a$ has an inverse $a^circ$ such that $aa^circ,a^circ a$ lie in $ Esubseteq E(S)$. Where $S$ possesses `enough' (in a precisely defined way) $E$-regular elements, analogues of Green's lemmas and even of Green's theorem hold, where Green's relations ${mathc...

Regularity of Induced Representations and a Theorem of Quigg and Spielberg Astrid an Huef and Iain Raeburn

Mackey’s imprimitivity theorem characterises the unitary representations of a locally compact group G which have been induced from representations of a closed subgroupK; Rieffel’s influential reformulation says that the group C-algebra C(K) is Morita equivalent to the crossed product C0(G/K) × G [14]. There have since been many important generalisations of this theorem, especially by Rieffel [1...
