Application of a High Speed Analog Neural Network Chip in the First Level Rz-trigger of the H1-experiment at Hera

We present the application of a high speed analog neural network chip of the MESA Research Institute in the rst level RZ-Trigger of the H1-Experiment at HERA. Using this neural network chip with a settling time of about 50 ns we can reach a rst level trigger decision within the HERA bunch-chrossing time of 96ns.
