T he Winter Meeting of the BTS affords us the opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues and to keep abreast of recent advances. Perhaps most importantly, it is also an ideal forum for the Society to raise the profile of respiratory medicine. This year’s meeting was attended by a record 1710 delegates. What follows is a personal review.
