چکیده

Encoding the clustering result to represent the structure feature of a tree ‹ Encoding each cluster as following field ‹Link all cluster fields to make a long numeric array that can represent the structure of a tree Describing the trees' super‐sub relationships with a network, and using a numeric method to access it fast. PURPOSE ‡ Structure Network: A network describing the super‐sub relationship of trees with the tree structures as the nodes. ‡ Find out super & sub trees for a given tree ‹ Super‐tree: Adding an edge ‹ Sub‐tree: Removing a leaf edge ‡ The structures of super & sub trees of a tree are corresponding to the results of clustering its vertices ‹ Clustering vertices by using the histograms of graph distances By using this network the trees' super‐sub relationships can be represented. ‡ Each vertex can be labeled with its graph distance histogram ‡ The labeled results are corresponding to the labeled result in a traditional matching method [1] The clustering result includes all the structure information of a tree ‡ Comparing the isomorphic ability with the traditional matching method [1]

Tree Indexing by Pushdown Automata and Repeats of Subtrees

We consider the problem of finding all subtree repeats in a given unranked ordered tree. We show a new, elegant, and simple method, which is based on the construction of a tree indexing structure called the subtree pushdown automaton. We propose a solution for computing all subtree repeats from the deterministic subtree pushdown automaton constructed over the subject tree. The method we present...

Multiway-Tree Retrieval Based on Treegrams

Large tree databases as knowledge repositories become more and more important; a prominent example are the treebanks in computational linguistics: text corpora consisting of up to five million words tagged with syntactic information. Consequently, these large amounts of structured data pose the problem of fast tree retrieval: Given a database T of labeled multiway trees and a query tree q, find...

An efficient algorithm for finding the semi-obnoxious $(k,l)$-core of a tree

In this paper we study finding the $(k,l)$-core problem on a tree which the vertices have positive or negative weights. Let $T=(V,E)$ be a tree. The $(k,l)$-core of $T$ is a subtree with at most $k$ leaves and with a diameter of at most $l$ which the sum of the weighted distances from all vertices to this subtree is minimized. We show that, when the sum of the weights of vertices is negative, t...

cient Retrieval of Labeled Binary

Generalizations of the classical ngram indexing technique provide a powerful tool for the fast retrieval of tree structures. We investigate the special case of binary trees, which are heavily used, e. g., in computer linguistics: Given a database T = ft1; : : : ; tng of labeled binary trees and a query tree q, nd eeciently all trees t 2 T that contain q as subtree. For supporting queries of thi...
