چکیده

In the early stage of ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions both the number density and energy density of the gluons are high and a complex and highly interacting system is formed. In this paper we investigate the possibilty that a colour singlet state may be formed through the gluon-gluon (re)interaction in the system. We present our results using the Monte-Carlo simulation and discuss how the colour singlet state will aaect the formation of a QGP and the distributions of hadrons in the nal state. 1 [email protected] (internet) 2 [email protected] (internet)

The Firecracker Model, a Possible Collective Eeect in High Energy Heavy-ion Collisions

We present a possible collective gluon emission eeect based upon a string-like scenario (available if the QCD vacuum works like a color-superconductor type II, i.e. when the color force elds work like vortex-lines) and provide some detailed predictions on the Cronin eeect, as well as on an increased (mini)jet production in the center of phase-space in high energy heavy ion collisions.

High energy factorization in nucleus-nucleus collisions II - Multigluon correlations

We extend previous results (arXiv: 0804.2630 [hep-ph]) on factorization in high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions by computing the inclusive multigluon spectrum to next-to-leading order. The factorization formula is strictly valid for multigluon emission in a slice of rapidity of width ∆Y ≤ α s . Our results shows that often neglected disconnected graphs dominate the inclusive multigluon spectr...

Initial state fluctuations and final state collectivity in high energy nuclear collisions: Status and Outlook

We review recent developments in the theoretical description of the initial state and collective dynamics in heavy ion and light-heavy ion collisions. After describing the current state of the art in event by event simulations of high energy nuclear collisions we will focus on open issues. These include early time non-equilibrium dynamics, small collision systems (p+p, p+A), hydrodynamic fluctu...

Modeling Magnetic Field in Heavy ion Collisions Using Two Different Nuclear Charge Density Distributions

By studying the properties of matter during heavy-ion collisions, a better understanding of the Quark-Gluon plasma is possible. One of the main areas of this study is the calculation of the magnetic field, particularly how the values of conductivity affects this field and how the field strength changes with proper time. In matching the theoretical calculations with results obtained in lab, two diffe...

Elliptic flow in heavy ion collisions near the balance energy

The proton elliptic flow in collisions of Ca on Ca at energies from 30 to 100 MeV/nucleon is studied in an isospin-dependent transport model. With increasing incident energy, the elliptic flow shows a transition from positive to negative flow. Its magnitude depends on both the nuclear equation of state (EOS) and the nucleon-nucleon scattering cross section. Different elliptic flows are obtained...
