This case report demonstrates a two-step surgical ridge augmentation procedure using so tissue grafts. A 42-year-old woman with Seibert Class III ridge deformity in the esthetic zone received plastic surgery using a subepithelial connective tissue gra harvested from the palate. The edentulous ridge healed with adequate buccolingual and apicocoronal contours. Fixed partial dentures were reconstructed with ovate pontic design to improve both functional and esthetic outcomes. us, the use of subepithelial connective tissue grafts is helpful in treating Seibert Class III ridge deformities.

Fixed prosthetics with a connective tissue and alloplastic bone graft ridge augmentation: a case report.
Augmentation of the partially edentulous ridge can significantly improve the final prosthodontic rehabilitation. For enhancing soft tissue contours in the anterior region, the subepithelial connective tissue graft is the treatment of choice. The combination of connective tissue grafts with alloplastic bone graft material can optimize the ridge augmentation and reduce post extraction defects. Th...

BACKGROUND Localized alveolar ridge defect may create physiological and pathological problems. Developments in surgical techniques have made it simpler to change the configuration of a ridge to create a more aesthetic and more easily cleansable shape. The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy of alveolar ridge augmentation using a subepithelial connective tissue graft in pouch and m...

The success of dental implant therapy in the esthetic zone requires not only functional osseointegration but also favorable esthetic results. The greatest challenge in the esthetic zone is to establish harmony, balance, and continuity of gingival form between implant restorations and the adjacent natural teeth. In the esthetic zone, a localized ridge defect or loss of a peri-implant papilla is ...
متن کاملA Two-step Method for the Preparation of Implant Recipient Site in Severe Atrophic Maxilla: A Case Report of the Alveolar Ridge Split Technique Followed by Bone Expansion
Augmentation of deficient and atrophic alveolar ridges is an important aspect of dental implant therapy with the goal of providing a functional restoration in harmony with adjacent natural dentition. Bone splitting technique is considered a distinguished augmentation method for treatment of deficient alveolar ridges. According to this procedure, the compromised alveolar ridge is opened from the...

The goal of all prosthetic treatment is to obtain a satisfying functional and esthetical oral status. Black triangles, which almost always interfere with dentofacial esthetics, are present in the e...
