چکیده

We consider the problem of feasible trajectory generation of an underactuated axi-symmetric spacecraft subject to two external torques acting on the plane normal to the symmetry axis. We derive the condition that must be satissed by an attitude history in order to be a feasible trajectory. W e then propose a methodology to generate trajectories satisfying this condition. Our approach makes use of the well-known atness of the corresponding diierential equations. We emphasize the importance of being able to generate these trajectories on-line and with minimal oo-line intervention. Feasible trajectories can later be used as reference trajectories for tracking problems for underactuated spacecraft.

Dynamically Feasible Motion Planning through Partial Differential Flatness

Differential flatness is a property which substantially reduces the difficulty involved in generating dynamically feasible trajectories for underactuated robotic systems. However, there is a large class of robotic systems that are not differentially flat, and an efficient method for computing dynamically feasible trajectories does not exist. In this paper we introduce a weaker but more general ...

Trajectory Planning and Control for Planar Robots with Passive Last Joint

We present a method for trajectory planning and control of planar robots with a passive rotational last joint. These underactuated mechanical systems, which are subject to nonholonomic second-order constraints, are shown to be fully linearized and input-output decoupled by means of a nonlinear dynamic feedback. This objective is achieved in a unified framework, both in the presence or absence o...

On-Board Near Optimal Flight Trajectory Generation using Deferential Flatness

An optimal explicit guidance law that maximizes terminal velocity is developed for a reentry vehicle to a fixed target. The equations of motion are reduced with differential flatness approach and acceleration commands are related to trajectory's parameters. An optimal trajectory is determined by solving a real-coded genetic algorithm. For online trajectory generation, optimal trajectory is...
