Domain-Based Application Service Location Using URIs and the Dynamic Delegation Discovery Service (DDDS)
نویسنده
چکیده
Internet-Drafts are working documents of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), its areas, and its working groups. Note that other groups may also distribute working documents as Internet-Drafts. Internet-Drafts are draft documents valid for a maximum of six months and may be updated, replaced, or obsoleted by other documents at any time. It is inappropriate to use Internet-Drafts as reference material or to cite them other than as "work in progress." Abstract This memo defines a generalized mechanism for application service naming that allows service location without relying on rigid domain naming conventions (so-called name hacks). The proposal defines a Dynamic Delegation Discovery System (DDDS) Application to map domain name, application service name, and application protocol to target server and port, dynamically. [Note to be removed for RFC publication: this work was originally referred to as "napstr", and draft-daigle-napstr-04 is the immediate precursor of draft-daigle-snaptr-00.]

Cluster Based Cross Layer Intelligent Service Discovery for Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks
The ability to discover services in Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a major prerequisite. Cluster basedcross layer intelligent service discovery for MANET (CBISD) is cluster based architecture, caching ofsemantic details of services and intelligent forwarding using network layer mechanisms. The cluster basedarchitecture using semantic knowledge provides scalability and accuracy. Also, the mini...
متن کاملNetwork Working Group the E.164 to Uniform Resource Identifiers (uri) Dynamic Delegation Discovery System (ddds) Application for Infrastructure Enum
This document defines the use case for Infrastructure ENUM and proposes its implementation as a parallel namespace to "e164.arpa", as defined in RFC 3761, as the long-term solution to the problem of allowing carriers to provision DNS records for telephone numbers independently of those provisioned by end users (number assignees). Table of

متن کاملA new Model for Database Service Discovery in Mobile Agent System
One of the main challenges of mobile agent technology is how to locate hosts that provide services specified by mobile agents. As it is a newly emerging research topic, few research groups have paid attention to offering an environment that combines the concept of service discovery and mobile agents to build dynamic distributed systems. Traditional Service Location Protocols (SDPs) can be appli...
متن کاملAn Autonomic Service Oriented Architecture in Computational Engineering Framework
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) technology enables composition of large and complex computational units out of the available atomic services. Implementation of SOA brings about challenges which include service discovery, service interaction, service composition, robustness, quality of service, security, etc. These challenges are mainly due to the dynamic nature of SOA. SOAmay often need to ...
