Void Sizes and Cmbr Fluctuations

چکیده

Following Blumenthal et al. 1] and Piran et al. 2] I discuss a simple model for the gravitational formation of voids. This model enables us to estimate the primordial perturbation required on the scale of voids. A comparison of this condition with the constraints on the spectrum of uctuations derived from CMBR observations reveals that gravitational growth of large voids require more power on the scale of 1500km/s than is generally accepted in CDM models. For a generic power law primordial spectrum P (k) / k n gravitational growth of voids requires n > 1:25, which is marginally compatible with the observed CMBR uctuations. If future measurements will show that the amplitude of uctuations required to produce the voids is too large they will imply that the voids did not grow gravitationally and that galaxies do not trace matter on very large scale.

A Differential Method of Search for the Cmbr Spectral-spatial Fluctuations

The CMBR spectral-spatial fluctuations (SSF) formed in early Universe during the Dark Ages are considered. Main attention is focused on the narrow-band spectral properties of the SSF. Based on these properties we propose to use a differential method in order to search for these fluctuations. Description of the method is given.

Abstract. The influence of the observed relict vacuum energy on the fluctuations of CMBR going through cosmological matter condensations is studied in the framework of the Einstein-Strauss-de Sitter vakuola model. It is shown that refraction of light at the matching surface of the vakuola and the expanding Friedman universe can be very important during accelerated expansion of the universe, whe...

A Measurement of the Medium-Scale Anisotropy in the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation

Observations from the first flight of the Medium Scale Anisotropy Measurement (MSAM) are analyzed to place limits on Gaussian fluctuations in the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation (CMBR). This instrument chops a 30 beam in a 3 position pattern with a throw of ±40; the resulting data is analyzed in statistically independent single and double difference datasets. We observe in four spectral c...

The microwave background anisotropies: observations.

Most cosmologists now believe that we live in an evolving universe that has been expanding and cooling since its origin about 15 billion years ago. Strong evidence for this standard cosmological model comes from studies of the cosmic microwave background radiation (CMBR), the remnant heat from the initial fireball. The CMBR spectrum is blackbody, as predicted from the hot Big Bang model before ...

Spectral Spatial Fluctuations of CMBR: Strategy and Concept of the Experiment

Spectral Spatial Fluctuations (SSF) of the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation (CMBR) temperature are considered as a result of an interaction of primordial atoms and molecules with CMBR in proto-objects moving with peculiar velocities relative to the CMBR. Expected optimistic values of ∆T/T are 2×10−2×10 for SSF caused by HeH at z =20-30 which are possible redshifts of early reionization sce...
