چکیده

A 56-year-old man with no known cardiac risk factors presented with dyspnea upon exertion. The vital signs were normal. Echocardiography showed normal left ventricular (LV) ejection fraction and no valvular disease, but moderate LV hypertrophy and LV diastolic dysfunction were noted. Rest and stress myocardial perfusion scintigraphy showed a reversible inferior-wall perfusion defect; therefore, an initial diagnosis of coronary artery disease was made. Coronary arteriography showed no atherosclerotic lesions in the 3 major coronary arteries; however, all 3 arteries communicated with the LV cavity through many small, diffuse fistulae (Figs. 1 and 2), resulting in complete LV contrast opacification. The coronary sinus appeared to be of normal size. The inferior-wall ischemia that was shown on nuclear stress imaging was attributed to coronary steal phenomenon. The patient was placed on medical therapy. Images In Cardiovascular Medicine

Coexistence of coronary cameral fistulae and cor triatriatum sinister in an elderly patient.

Coronary cameral fistulae are unusual congenital or acquired anomalous communications between an epicardial coronary artery and a cardiac chamber. There are no reported cases of the association of coronary cameral fistulae and cor triatriatum, a rare congenital cardiac anomaly in which a fibromuscular membrane divides the left atrium into two chambers. We report the case of an 82-year-old man p...

Bilateral Coronary Pulmonary Artery Fistulae.

Coronary cameral fistulae are rare and bicoronary pulmonary artery fistulae is even rarer. This is a case of a 70 year old male who presented to us with complaints of chest pain and dyspnoea. His ECG showed ST-T changes in inferior and anterior precordial leads suggestive of ischaemia in those territories. His coronary angiogram revealed bilateral coronary pulmonary arterial fistulae arising fr...

A case of coronary-cameral fistulae involving all three major coronary arteries.

e describe a case of a 61-year-old female patient who underwent coronary angiography for the investigation of short-lasting chest pain episodes at rest. Her medical history consisted of dyslipidemia as the only risk factor for coronary artery disease. Clinical examination was unremark-able with no signs of heart failure or additional heart murmurs. The results of a standard 12-lead ECG were nor...

Three Vessel Coronary Cameral Fistulae Associated with New Onset Atrial Fibrillation and Angina Pectoris

Coronary cameral fistulas are abnormal communications between a coronary artery and a heart chamber or a great vessel which are reported in less than 0.1% of patients undergoing diagnostic coronary angiography. All three major coronary arteries are even less frequently involved in fistula formation as it is the case in our patient. A 68-year-old woman was admitted to cardiology clinic with comp...

Multiple coronary-cameral fistulae causing angina pectoris.

On physical examination, his blood pressure was 130/70 mmHg, and his heart rate was 85 beats/min. Electrocardiography showed sinus rhythm and no specific changes in the ST segment or the T wave. Echocardiography revealed ventricles of normal size and function. Coronary angiography r...
