چکیده

Numerical dosimetry on induced current density inside human body exposed to magnetic fields due to induction heat (IH) hob is performed by the impedance method (IM). Magnetic flux density distribution which is obtained by measurement with magnetic probe is used for incident magnetic field in IM. Current density distributions induced within two voxel models of the average Japanese adult male and female are obtained. These results indicate that hot spots of induced current density are observed at a few [cm] inside from the surface of two models because of inhomogeneous conductivity of tissues. The maximum value of current density inside the male model is larger than that inside the female model.

Development of a free anthropomorphic voxel model of human body for wide-band computational electromagnetics dosimetry

To calculate and evaluate wave scattering and penetration of electromagnetic waves in different biological tissues it is necessary to use a realistic model of the human body, with all tissues resolved and separately assigned with appropriate electric/magnetic properties. We report the development of a realistic 3D whole-body human model that has been adapted for simulation in CST software, cont...

Specific absorption rates and induced current densities for an anatomy-based model of the human for exposure to time-varying magnetic fields of MRI.

A 6-mm resolution, 30-tissue anatomy-based model of the human body is used to calculate specific absorption rate (SAR) and the induced current density distributions for radiofrequency and switched gradient magnetic fields used for MRI, respectively. For SAR distributions, the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is used including modeling of 16-conductor birdcage coils and outer shields ...

Effects of static and electromagnetic fields on human serum paraoxonase-1 activity in vitro

Introduction: In recent years the relationship between electromagnetic fields and coronary artery disease is attracted a considerable attention. Low density lipoprotein (LDL) oxidation is the initial step in the development of atherosclerosis. Paraoxonase1 (PON1) protects LDL and High density lipoprotein (HDL) against oxidative processes, thus preventing the formation of atherogenic (oxidized-L...
