چکیده
Papillary carcinoma arising in a thyroglossal cyst is rare. There is controversy regarding optimum management. We report a case managed by Sistrunk's procedure and external radiotherapy and review the literature on the subject.

We wish to report one such case of papillary carcinoma of the thyroglossal duct cyst in a 50 year old female. In a majority of the cases, the diagnosis is made on histopathological evaluation after the excision of the clinically benign thyroglossal duct cyst.
