چکیده
The Institute for Infocomm Research (IIR) team submitted two systems, namely the primary iir_primary_llr and the contrastive iir_contrast1_llr, to the 2011 NIST Language Recognition Evaluation (LRE). Both systems are based on the fusion of multiple classifiers. These classifiers are broadly divided into two groups: acoustic and phonotactic. Included in the submission are the result files: iir1/iir_primary_llr.out iir1/iir_contrast1_llr.out

NIST 2007 Language Recognition Evaluation: From the Perspective of IIR
This paper describes the Institute for Infocomm Research (IIR) system for the 2007 Language Recognition Evaluation (LRE) conducted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The submitted system is a fusion of multiple state-ofthe-art language classifiers using diversified discriminative language cues. We implemented several state-of-the-art algorithms using both phonotactic ...
متن کاملThe LF Language Recognition System for NIST LRE 2011
This document presents a description of INESC-ID’s Spoken Language Systems Laboratory (LF) Language Recognition systems submitted to the 2011 NIST Language Recognition evaluation. The LF primary system consists of the fusion of six individual sub-systems: four phonotactic sub-systems and two acoustic based sub-systems. The major differences of the submitted LR system with respect to previous LF...
متن کاملThe MITLL NIST LRE 2011 language recognition system
This paper presents a description of the MIT Lincoln Laboratory (MITLL) language recognition system developed for the NIST 2011 Language Recognition Evaluation (LRE). The submitted system consisted of a fusion of four core classifiers, three based on spectral similarity and one based on tokenization. Additional system improvements were achieved following the submission deadline. In a major de...

This paper reports the IIR speaker recognition system for the summed channel evaluation tasks in the NIST SRE 2008 and 2010. The system includes three main modules: voice activity detection, speaker diarization and speaker recognition. The front-end process employs a voice activity detection algorithm for effective speech frame selection. The speaker diarization system that was developed for 20...
متن کاملNIST language recognition evaluation - plans for 2015
We discuss two NIST coordinated evaluations of automatic language recognition technology planned for calendar year 2015 along with possible additional plans for the future. The first is the Language Recognition i-Vector Machine Learning Challenge, largely modeled on the 2013-2014 Speaker Recognition i-Vector Machine Learning Challenge. This online challenge, emphasizing the language identificat...
