Electroweak Data and Standard Model Fit Results

Most recent tests of the Standard Model of the electroweak interaction are reported using data from the four LEP experiments ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL, the SLD experiment at SLC, the Tevatron p¯ p experiments CDF and D0, and the NuTeV neutrino experiment. Consistency of the Standard Model is studied. The value of the Higgs mass is inferred from a global fit. Latest precision electroweak data (some of them are preliminary) are used for a global fit in the framework of the Standard Model (SM). The data used for the present analysis consist of: • The Z parameters – lineshape and lepton asymmetry at LEP: m Z , Γ Z , σ 0 h , R ℓ and A 0,ℓ FB. – A e and A τ from τ polarisation at LEP. – A ℓ from polarised left-right asymmetry by SLD. lept eff from quark forward-backward asymmetry at LEP. • W mass m W at LEP and p¯ p colliders. • Top mass m t at p¯ p collider Tevatron.
