چکیده
This study examined conflict behaviors (self, other) among 127 Turkish college students. Differences in five conflict behaviors (forcing, avoiding, accommodating, compromising, and collaborating) were then explored in relation to popularity and unpopularity. Results indicated that the students engaged in more avoiding and compromising behaviors, while perceiving more forcing behavior in others. Further, the unpopular group was found to engage m more compromising behavior, and perceived more forcing behavior in others, as compared with the popular group. Constructive and destructive conflict strategies, and their implications for popularity, are discussed.

Longitudinal information from a nationally representative sample...
متن کاملA Far - Ultraviolet Survey of 47 Tucanae . I . Imaging
We present results from the imaging portion of a far-ultraviolet (FUV) survey of the core of 47 Tucanae. We have detected 767 FUV sources, 527 of which have optical counterparts in archival HST/WFPC2 images of the same field. Most of our FUV sources are main-sequence (MS) turn-off stars near the detection limit of our survey. However, the FUV/optical color-magnitude diagram (CMD) also reveals 1...

متن کاملInfluence of T Cell Receptor Expression on Mls a Superantigen-specific T Cell Responses
Recognition of conventional foreign antigen by T cells is determined by the expression of multiple variable regions of both ol and 3 chains of the T cell receptor (TCR) oe/3 heterodimer. In contrast, there exists a class of antigens that appears to interact with the TCR c~/3 heterodimer through the variable region on the 3 chain (V3), independent of other TCR components, a property that has led...
