چکیده
We consider consistent estimation of partially linear panel data models with fixed effects. We propose profile-likelihood-based estimators for both the parametric and nonparametric components in the models and establish convergence rates and asymptotic normality for both estimators.

An Adjusted profile likelihood for non-stationary panel data models with fixed effects
We calculate the bias of the profile score for the autoregressive parameters ρ and covariate slopes β in the linear model for N × T panel data with p lags of the dependent variable, exogenous covariates, fixed effects, and unrestricted initial observations. The bias is a vector of multivariate polynomials in ρ with coefficients that depend only on T . We center the profile score and, on integra...
متن کاملEstimation in Partially Linear Single-Index Panel Data Models with Fixed Effects
In this paper, we consider semiparametric estimation in a partially linear single– index panel data model with fixed effects. Without taking the difference explicitly, we propose using a semiparametric minimum average variance estimation (SMAVE) based on a dummy–variable method to remove the fixed effects and obtain consistent estimators for both the parameters and the unknown link function. As...
متن کاملEstimation of Partially Linear Panel Data Models with Fixed Effects
This paper considers the problem of estimating a partially linear semipara-metric fixed effects panel data model with possible endogeneity. Using the series method, we establish the root N normality result for the estimator of the parametric component, and we show that the unknown function can be consistently estimated at the standard nonparametric rate. c 2002 Peking University Press

متن کاملEstimation of Variance Components for Body Weight of Moghani Sheep Using B-Spline Random Regression Models
The aim of the present study was the estimation of (co) variance components and genetic parameters for body weight of Moghani sheep, using random regression models based on B-Splines functions. The data set included 9165 body weight records from 60 to 360 days of age from 2811 Moghani sheep, collected between 1994 to 2013 from Jafar-Abad Animal Research and Breeding Institute, Ardabil province,...
