چکیده

The nuclear-polarization (NP) energies for hydrogenlike heavy ions are calculated using the same collective model employed in [1, 2]. The transverse, as well as the Coulomb contributions, are considered in both the Feynman and Coulomb gauges. A considerable gauge violation is found when the ladder and cross diagrams only are taken into account. A schematic nuclear model with a separable interaction between nucleons gives the same transition densities of charge as those of the collective model employed. Using this equivalence, NP energy shifts with the collective model are gauge invariantly evaluated for the 1s1/2 states in 208 82Pb 81+ and 238 92U . Gauge Invariant Variables for SU(2) Yang-Mills Theory

We describe a nonperturbative calculation of the spectrum of SU(2) Yang-Mills theory based on a Hamiltonian formulation. Our approach exploits gauge invariant variables similar to those used in nuclear physics to describe collective motion in nuclei.

AB Initio Calculations of NMR Spectra for H20114C9N4 As A New Nanosemiconductor Molecule

BCN compounds have been researched theoretically and experimentally widely. In this paper, weintroduce the theoretical prediction of ternary B-C-N compounds. NMR spectroscopy was employedextensively to study these ternary nanostructures. We discuss the utilization of chemical shiftinformation as well as ab initio calculations of nuclear shielding for H20134C9N4 structuredetermination. We calcul...

An Ab initio and chemical shielding tensors calculations for Nucleotide 5’-Monophosphates in the Gas phase

Structural and magnetic properties of purine and pyrimidine nucleotides (CMP, UMP, dTMP, AMP, GMP, IMP) were studied at different levels of ab initio molecular orbital theory. These calculations were performed at the hartree-fock level and density functional B3LYP methods. Geometries were fully optimized by following Cs symmetry restrictions. The standard 6-31G** basis set which includes polari...

Neutrino Polarization as a Consequence of Gauge Invariance

It is pointed out that there are gauge-dependent and gauge-independent spinors within the little-group framework for internal space-time symmetries of massless particles. It is shown that two of the SL(2, c) spinors are invariant under gauge transformations while the remaining two are not. The Dirac equation contains only the gauge-invariant spinors leading to polarized neutrinos. It is shown t...

Gauge Invariant Pauli–Villars Regularization for Chiral Fermion

We re-examine the generalized Pauli–Villars regularization proposed by Frolov and Slavnov, a possible gauge invariant Lagrangian-level regularization for a chiral fermion. When a chiral fermion belongs to a (pseudo-)real representation of the gauge group, the formulation always provides a complete gauge invariant regularization; a chiral fermion in an anomaly free complex representation seems t...
