چکیده
In this paper we discuss the issues involved an forming proper knowledge representation for process planning. Ajter 01 brief review the knowledge representation schemes used in the existing reported CAPP systems we describe the process planning function and its knowledge requirements. Based on these requirements, we present a knowledge representation scheme Chat allows both upstream and downstream integration of CAPP. At the end the benefits of the proposed representation are discussed.
