Experimental Chua’s Circuit Arrays As an Autowave Simulator
A two-dimensional (2-D) array of electronic circuits is used to simulate the typical autowaves experimentally found in various active media (target and spiral waves). This experimental setup allows us to obtain some of the phenomena previously described in continuous media, but with a complete control on each cell and on the connections among them.
متن کاملObservations of phase Synchronization Phenomena in One-Dimensional Arrays of Coupled Chaotic Electronic Circuits
In nature, structures composed of individual simple subsystems are wide-spread. Specific examples come from biology and medicine (tissues of living organisms) physics and chemistry (matter composed of atoms), etc. Properties of such systems depend on properties of individual subsystems and the way they are coupled together. Various models describing behavior of interconnections of a large numbe...
متن کاملComposition Methods for the Simulation of Arrays of Chua’s Circuits
Composition methods are methods for the integration of ordinary differential equations arising from differential geometry, or more precisely, Lie algebra theory. We apply them here to the simulation of arrays of Chua’s circuits. In these methods, we split the vector field of the array of Chua’s circuits into its linear part and its nonlinear part. We then solve the elementary differential equat...
متن کاملEfficient Analysis of Plasmonic circuits using Differential Global Surface Impedance (DGSI) Model
Differential global surface impedance (DGSI) model, a rigorous approach, has been applied to the analysis of three dimensional plasmonic circuits. This model gives a global relation between the tangential electric field and the equivalent surface electric current on the boundary of an object. This approach helps one bring the unknowns to the boundary surface of an object and so avoid volumetric...
متن کاملFault-tolerant adder design in quantum-dot cellular automata
Quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) are an emerging technology and a possible alternative for faster speed, smaller size, and low power consumption than semiconductor transistor based technologies. Previously, adder designs based on conventional designs were examined for implementation with QCA technology. This paper utilizes the QCA characteristics to design a fault-tolerant adder that is more...
