PLAYERS WITH UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOR : t - IMMUNE STRATEGIES . AN EVOLUTIONARY APPROACH

چکیده
An evolutionary detection method based on generative relations for detecting the t-immune strategies of a non-cooperative game is introduced. Numerical experiments on an economic game show the potential of our approach.

An Adaptive Learning Model for Simplified Poker Using Evolutionary Algorithms
Evolution is the process of adapting to a potentially dynamic environment. By utilising the implicit learning characteristic of evolution in our algorithms, we can create computer programs that learn, and evolve, in uncertain environments. We propose to use evolutionary algorithms to learn to play games of imperfect information – in particular, the game of poker. We describe a new adaptive lear...
متن کاملDefection and extortion as unexpected catalysts of unconditional cooperation in structured populations
We study the evolution of cooperation in the spatial prisoner's dilemma game, where besides unconditional cooperation and defection, tit-for-tat, win-stay-lose-shift and extortion are the five competing strategies. While pairwise imitation fails to sustain unconditional cooperation and extortion regardless of game parametrization, myopic updating gives rise to the coexistence of all five strate...
متن کاملReplicator Equation: Applications Revisited
The replicator equation is a simple model of evolution that leads to stable form of Nash Equilibrium, Evolutionary Stable Strategy (ESS). No individuals get an incentive unilaterally deviating from the equilibrium. It has been studied in connection with Evolutionary Game Theory, a theory John Maynard Smith and George R. Price developed to predict biological reproductive success of populations. ...
متن کاملروشهای مدلسازی تطوری در اقتصاد (با تاکید بر عناصر مشترک سازنده آنها)
In this paper we have tried mention to some sort of thewell-known evolutionary modeling approaches in economic territory such as Multi Agent simulations, Evolutionary Computation and Evolutionary Game Theory. As it has been mentioned in the paper, in recent years, the number of Evolutionary contributions applied to Multi-Agent models increased remarkably. However until now there is no consensus...
متن کاملPredicting ε50 for Lateral Behavior of Piles in Marine Clay Using an Evolutionary Based Approach
Analyzing piles subjected to lateral loads significantly depends on soil resistance at any point along the pile as a function of pile deflection, known as p-y curve. On the other hand, the deformation characteristics of soil defined as “the soil strain at 50% of maximum deviatoric stress (ε50)” has considerable effect on the generated p-y curve. In this research, several models are proposed to ...
