Trust Modeling with Context Representation and Generalized Identities

چکیده
We present a trust model extension that attempts to relax the assumptions that are currently taken by the majority of existing trust models: (i) proven identity of agents, (ii) repetitive interactions and (iii) similar trusting situations. The proposed approach formalizes the situation (context) and/or trusted agent identity in a multi-dimensional Identity-Context feature space, and attaches the trustworthiness evaluations to individual elements from this metric space, rather than to fixed identity tags (e.g. AIDs, addresses). Trustworthiness of the individual elements of the I-C space can be evaluated using any trust model that supports weighted aggregations and updates, allowing the integration of the mechanism with most existing work. Trust models with the proposed extension are appropriate for deployment in dynamic, ad-hoc and mobile environments, where the agent platform can’t guarantee the identity of the agents and where the cryptographybased identity management techniques may be too costly due to the unreliable and costly communication.

The majority of existing trust models is based on three underlying assumptions: (i) proven identity of agents, (ii) repetitive interactions and (iii) similar trusting situations. In our work, we address these assumptions by introduction of simple classification techniques in our mechanism that extends existing trust models, rather than by introduction of a new model. The proposed approach forma...
متن کاملIdentity Representation Strategies used by English and EL2 Political Actors and Researchers
Previous literature on the study of identity representation in political discourse has been mainly concerned with the spoken discourse and the representation of self. However, the way different groups of political agents represent others’ identities across languages has not attracted much attention. Using Wodak’s (2007) Discourse Historical approach to CDA, the present study investigates the wa...
متن کاملIdentity and Representation through Language in Ghana: The Postcolonial Self and the Other
Research related to colonialism and post colonialism shows how the identities of indigenous people were constructed and how these identities are reconstructed in our contemporary world. The thrust of this paper is that colonialism brought a shift in the linguistic structure of Ghana with the introduction of the use of English among Ghanaians. The coexistence of both Ghanaian languages and Engli...
متن کاملOn Identities with Additive Mappings in Rings
begin{abstract} If $F,D:Rto R$ are additive mappings which satisfy $F(x^{n}y^{n})=x^nF(y^{n})+y^nD(x^{n})$ for all $x,yin R$. Then, $F$ is a generalized left derivation with associated Jordan left derivation $D$ on $R$. Similar type of result has been done for the other identity forcing to generalized derivation and at last an example has given in support of the theorems. end{abstract}

Let $R$ be a prime ring with its Utumi ring of quotients $U$, $C=Z(U)$ the extended centroid of $R$, $L$ a non-central Lie ideal of $R$ and $0neq a in R$. If $R$ admits a generalized derivation $F$ such that $a(F(u^2)pm F(u)^{2})=0$ for all $u in L$, then one of the following holds: begin{enumerate} item there exists $b in U$ such that $F(x)=bx$ for all $x in R$, with $ab=0$; item $F(x)=...
