چکیده
This is a two part paper. The first part, written somewhat earlier, presented standard processes which cannot so easily be accommodated within what are presently considered as physical type realms. The second part further elaborates on that fact. In particular, it is argued that quantum superposition and entanglement may better be understood in extensions of what we usually consider as physical type realms, realms which, as it happens, have so far never been defined precisely enough. Abstract It has for ages been a rather constant feature of thinking in science to take it for granted that the respective thinking happens in realms which are totally outside and independent of all the other phenomena that constitute the objects of such thinking. The imposition of this divide on two levels may conflict with basic assumptions of Newtonian and Einsteinian mechanics, as well as with those in Quantum Mechanics. It also raises the question whether the realms in which thinking happens have no any other connection with the realms science deals

In this paper we consider the well-known cyclical model for climate change ,for example from glaciation to the present day and back, and compare this with a two-state model in Quantum Mechanics. We establish the full correspondence.

A relation connecting the rest mass and separation of events in space-time continuum is suggested and the idea of Compton scattering is used as a method for the determination of rest mass. An experiment involving collision of photons resulting in creation of rest mass is discussed theoretically in order to illustrate the connection formula .

Abstract The present study begins by sketching "Chaos/Complexity Theory" (C/CT) and its applica-tion to the nature of language and language acquisition. Then, the theory of "Universal Grammar" (UG) is explicated with an eye to C/CT. Firstly, it is revealed that CCT may or may not be allied with a theory of language acquisition that takes UG as the initial state of language acquisition for ...

In the past years, variable speed of light (VSL) theories have been of growing interest but also a subject of controversial discussion. They have been accused both for tautologies and for violating special relativity, and concerns have been expressed about the validity of such approaches in general (e.g. Ellis, astro-ph/0703751). Without trying completeness on the issue, the example of Einstein...
