Concatenation Sequences
All kinds of things can be found among integer sequences, including the weird and nonsensical. Enter Smarandache sequences (S. sequences, for short), which are integer sequences due to Florentin Smarandache and his disciples. Some S. sequence are related to number-theoretic topics. Others, at first glance (second, third, ...) seem downright silly. An example is the progressive concatenation of ...
متن کاملStudy of Sexual Dimorphism in Second-to-fourth Digit Length Ratio (2D: 4D) in the Green-Bellied Lizard (Darevskia cholorogaster) from Iran
Sexual dimorphism in digit ration is related to genetic differences between species in response to prenatal exposure to hormones. In this study, the development of tetrapod digits, preliminary the ratio between the length of digit II and IV (2D: 4D) was investigated in 34 samples of Darevskia cholorogaster in the North of Iran. The results showed no significant differences between sexes in any ...
متن کاملConstruction of Elements of the Smarandache Square-partial-digital Subsequence
The Smarandache Square-Partial-Digital Subsequence (SPDS) ~s the sequence of square integers which admit a partition for which each segment is a square integer. An example is 506 = 256036 which has partition 25610136. Ashbacher considers these numbers on page 44 of [1] and quickly shows that the SPDS is infinite by exhibiting two infinite IIfamilies ll of elements. We will extend his results by...

متن کاملComparison of Effectiveness of Motor-Working Memory Training and Perceptual-Motor Exercises on Digit Span and Letter–Number Sequencing in Educable Children with Intellectual Disabilities
Background and Objective: Appropriate programs should be provided to improve the function of memory, learning, and the effects of processing efficiency in the daily life of children with intellectual disabilities. Therefore, the present study aimed to compare the effectiveness of motor-working memory training and perceptual-motor exercises on digit span and letter-number sequencing in educable ...
