Septicemia after Barium Reduction in a Pediatric Patient with Intussusception.

A 4-year-old boy was admitted to our hospital because of sudden-onset abdominal pain that lasted 5 hours. He had no prior history or signs of fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or currant-jelly stools.
