Spin - gap phase in the extended t − J chain
نویسنده
چکیده
We study the one-dimensional deformed t−t−J model in terms of the continuum field theories. We found that at low doping concentration and far away from the phase separation regime, there are two phases: the Luttinger liquid and the Luther-Emery liquid, depending on t/t < (t′/t)c or t /t > (t′/t)c, where (t′/t)c > 0. Moreover, the singlet superconducting correlations are dominant in the Luther-Emery liquid. It is a common knowledge that the formation of electron pairs is a necessary ingredient of any theoretical work describing superconductivity. Thus, finding the mechanism of the formation of the electron pairs is of utmost importance. There are some experiments on high transition temperature superconductors which support the electron-phonon (e-ph) interactions as the pairing mechanism (ARPES),...
متن کاملThermal negativity in a two qubit XXX and XX spin chain model in an external magnetic field
In this paper we studied the thermal negativity in a two-qubit XX spin ½ chain model and XXX spin1/2 chain model(isotropic Heisenberg model)spin-1/2 chain subjected to an external magnetic field inz direction. We calculate analytical relation for the thermal negativity for two qubit XX and XXX spinchain models in the external magnetic field. Effects of the magnetic field and temperature on then...
متن کاملSuperconductivity in a quasi-one-dimensional spin liquid.
The single rung t-J ladder is analyzed in a mean field theory using Gutzwiller renormalization of the matrix elements to account for strong correlation. The spin liquid (RVB) state at half-filling evolves into a superconducting state upon doping. The order parameter has a modified d-wave character. A lattice of weakly coupled ladders should show a superconducting phase transition. PACS: 71.27.+...
متن کاملAn Impurity Driven Phase Transition in the Antiferromagnetic Spin-1 Chain
Using an asymptotically exact real space renormalization procedure, we find that the Heisenberg antiferromagnetic spin-1 chain undergoes an impurity driven second order phase transition from the Haldane phase to the random singlet phase, as the bond distribution is broadened. In the Haldane phase and near the critical point, there is a Griffiths region in which the gap is filled and the suscept...

We analyze the phase diagram of single and bi-layer cuprates using the gaugefield description of the t-J model. For T > TBE the in-plane fermion-pairing order parameter ∆‖ is eliminated by gauge field fluctuations, leading us to predict the absence of a spin-gap phase in single-layer cuprates. For bi-layer cuprates the inter-layer order parameter ∆⊥ is enhanced by spin correlations, and is less...
