چکیده
The RF integrated noise suppressor is demonstrated by integration of soft magnetic films on coplanar transmission line. Vertical structure is composed of the magnetic film (2 mm x 15 mm x 1, 2 m) /2 m-thick polyimide/15.2 mm-long and 3 mthick Cu transmission line/seed layer (Ti/Cu) /1 mm-thick glass substrate. The coplanar transmission line was prepared by electroplated Cu with 50 characteristic impedance. The width of signal line is 50 m. The magnetic films were deposited by rf magnetron sputtering. We used CoPdAlO (4 Ms=8.3 kG, = 500 cm, FMR frequency fres=2.8 GHz) and CoNbZr (4 Ms=10 kG, =120 cm, fres=0.8 GHz) magnetic films. The measured transmission parameter (S21) of integrated noise suppressor was compared with those of the non-integrated noise suppressor. The magnitude of signal attenuation due to the ferromagnetic resonance and eddy current loss of magnetic films at resonance point was greatly increased by the integration: from -4 dB to -30 dB for the 1 m-thick CoNbZr film, and from -15 dB to -57 dB for the 2 m-thick CoPdAlO film, respectively.

A Review of the Radio Frequency Non-destructive Testing for Carbon-fibre Composites
The purpose of this paper is to review recent research on the applications of existing non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques, especially radio frequency (RF) NDT, for carbon-fibre reinforced plastics (CFRP) composites. Electromagnetic properties of CFRP composites that are associated with RF NDT are discussed first. The anisotropic characteristic of the conductivity and the relationship betw...
متن کاملNew Methods of Detection and Characterization of Surface Flaws
A new approach to microwave eddy current testing for surface cracks in metals involves the use of ferromagnetic resonance in a small garnet crystal placed close to the surface to be tested. It is well known in this case that the induced eddy currents on the metal surface cause a strong displacement of the ferromagnetic resonance frequency. The presence of a crack on the surface produces, by dis...

متن کاملBlood Flow Simulation in an Aorta with a mild coarctation Using Magnetic Resonance Angiography and Finite Volume Method
Coarctation of the aorta is one of the five main congenital cardiovascular failures, accounting for 6–8 percent of these failures. This research aimed to simulate the blood flow of a seventeen-year-old male teen with a mild coarctation at one-third of his aorta's descending branch. The simulation was performed by extracting the domain and the input pulsatile velocity signal as the boundary cond...
