A Distributed Kripke Semantics

چکیده
A. An intuitionistic, hybrid modal logic suitable for reasoning about distribution of resources was introduced in [10]. We extend the Kripke semantics of intuitionistic logic, enriching each possible Kripke state with a set of places, and show that this semantics is both sound and complete for the logic. In the semantics, resources of a distributed system are interpreted as atoms, and placement of atoms in a possible state corresponds to the distribution of the resources. The modalities of the logic allow us to validate properties in a particular place, in some place and in all places. We extend the logic with disjunctive connectives, and refine our semantics to obtain soundness and completeness for extended logic. The extended logic can be seen as an instance of Hybrid IS5 [2, 18].

Disjunctive Logic Programming and Possible Model Semantics
We use Kripke structures of autoepistemic logic to classify various semantics for disjunctive logic programs with default negation. We have observed that nonmonotonic reasoning can be characterized by Kripke structures whose beliefs are justiied. We also observed that two diierent types of negative introspection in autoepistemic reasoning present two diierent interpretations of default negation...
متن کاملNexus Authorization Logic (NAL): Logical Results
Nexus Authorization Logic (NAL) [Schneider et al. 2011] is a logic for reasoning about authorization in distributed systems. A revised version of NAL is given here, including revised syntax, a revised proof theory using localized hypotheses, and a new Kripke semantics. The proof theory is proved sound with respect to the semantics, and that proof is formalized in Coq.
متن کاملTruth Values and Connectives in Some Non-Classical Logics
The question as to whether the propositional logic of Heyting, which was a formalization of Brouwer's intuitionistic logic, is finitely many valued or not, was open for a while (the question was asked by Hahn). Kurt Gödel (1932) introduced an infinite decreasing chain of intermediate logics, which are known nowadays as Gödel logics, for showing that the intuitionistic logic is not finitely (man...
متن کاملGeometric Aspects of Multiagent Systems
Recent advances in Multiagent Systems (MAS) and Epistemic Logic within Distributed Systems Theory, have used various combinatorial structures that model both the geometry of the systems and the Kripke model structure of models for the logic. Examining one of the simpler versions of these models, interpreted systems, and the related Kripke semantics of the logic S5n (an epistemic logic with n-ag...
متن کاملCanonical Kripke Models and the Intuitionistic Semantics of Logic Programs
Motivated by the problem of extending stable semantics (SS) and well-founded semantics (WFS) while avoiding their drawbacks, we propose a new simple and intuitive semantics for (normal) logic programs, called canonical Kripke model semantics. Our approach is based on formulating stability in an intuitionistic framework which helps us overcome several drawbacks. As a consequence, every normal pr...
