Utilization of Yeasts in Local Industries

چکیده
In Thailand, alcohol and baker’s yeast production are the large scale industry that employ pure yeast culture in the process. In the future, there is a potential to employ yeasts in other industries such as single cell protein production and production of novel products from the genetically engineered yeasts. Up to now, the local industry and academicians are attempting to develop new technology for local fermentation industries.
