A Cross-Layer Radio Resource Management in WiMAX Systems

چکیده
This chapter addresses the issue of a cross layer radio resource management in IEEE 802.16 metropolitan network and focuses specially on IEEE 802.16e-2005 WiMAX network with Wireless MANOFDMA physical layer. A wireless bandwidth allocation strategy for a mobile WiMAX network is very important since it determines the maximum average number of users accepted in the network and consequently the provider gain.
