Arthroscopically Assisted Surgery for Coronoid Fractures.

چکیده
Coronoid fractures are not easily accessed surgically. Despite the majority of cases of coronoid fracture responding to conservative treatment, limited range of motion or instability can develop after such treatment. Therefore, unstable coronoid fractures should be treated surgically to improve clinical outcome. Several approaches and treatment methods have been used for coronoid fractures. The authors report the clinical characteristics, results, and outcomes of 10 cases of Regan-Morrey Type I, Type II, and Type III coronoid fractures treated using a novel arthroscopic technique.

Effectiveness of arthroscopically assisted surgery for ankle fractures: A meta-analysis.
INTRODUCTION This meta-analysis was performed to determine whether the arthroscopically assisted open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) for ankle fractures is more beneficial than the conventional ORIF. METHODS Articles in electronic medial databases were searched between March 1983 and August 2016, including Pubmed and SCOPUS. We included the studies with comparative design comparing th...
متن کاملTreatment of intra-articular fractures of the distal radius: fluoroscopic or arthroscopic reduction?
In a randomised prospective study, 20 patients with intra-articular fractures of the distal radius underwent arthroscopically- and fluoroscopically-assisted reduction and external fixation plus percutaneous pinning. Another group of 20 patients with the same fracture characteristics underwent fluoroscopically-assisted reduction alone and external fixation plus percutaneous pinning. The patients...
متن کاملArthroscopically assisted reduction and fixation of a juvenile Tillaux fracture.
This is the first report of arthroscopically assisted reduction and fixation of a juvenile Tillaux fracture. Arthroscopic visualization assisted with the anatomic reduction of the articular fragment. This adds arthroscopy as a modality available to help obtain accurate reduction as well as understand the nature of the fracture pattern in juvenile Tillaux fractures along with its adult counterpa...
متن کاملArthroscopically assisted percutaneous osteosynthesis of lateral tibial plateau fractures.
BACKGROUND The aim of our study was to evaluate the results of lateral tibial plateau fractures treated with arthroscopically assisted percutaneous osteosynthesis (AAPO). METHODS Twenty-one patients (14 men and 7 women) with a mean age of 41 years underwent AAPO to repair low-energy Schatzker I-III tibial plateau fractures. Under pneumatic tourniquet, we reduced and fixed the fracture with 1 ...
متن کاملArthroscopically assisted reduction of type 1A ankle Fractures in Children: Case Report
INTRODUCTION The risk of growth arrest following paediatric ankle fractures type 1 A is very high. Therefore all attempts should be done to anatomically reduce this kind of fracture. The advances in ankle arthroscopy have brought the possibility to reduce these fractures under direct vision, without the need of capsulotomy. The purpose of this paper is to stress the importance of the use of art...
