چکیده

This paper presents a new data hiding scheme via steganographic image transformation, which is different from conventional data hiding techniques. The transformation is achieved in the frequency domain and the concept of Fourier filtering method is used. An input image is transformed into a fractal image, which can be used in Computer Graphic (CG) applications. One of the main advantages of this scheme is the amount of data to be hidden (embedded) is equal to that of the host signal (generated fractal image) while it is in general limited in the conventional data hiding schemes. Also both the opened fractal image and the hidden original one can be properly used depending on the situation. Unauthorized users will not notice the “secret” original image behind the fractal image, but even if they know that there is a hidden image it will be difficult for them to estimate the original image from the transformed image. Only authorized users who know the proper keys can regenerate the original image. The proposed method is applicable not only as a security tool for multimedia contents on web pages but also as a steganographic secret communication method through fractal images. key words: steganography, data hiding, multimedia, fractal, Fourier filtering method, fBm (fractional Brownian motion), computer graphics

A Novel Steganographic Technique Based on 3D-DCT Approach

In this paper, a new technique for hiding the data of images has been proposed. This method uses 3-dimentional discrete cosine transformation scheme, along with 2-dimentional discrete cosine transformation. The method proposed in this paper hides two target images behind one cover image thereby increasing the data hiding capacity greatly. For the cause of security only the final stego-image is ...

A High Quality Steganographic Method Using Morphing

A new morphed steganographic algorithm is proposed in this paper. Image security is a challenging problem these days. Steganography is a method of hiding secret data in cover media. The Least Significant Bit is a standard Steganographic method that has some limitations. The limitations are less capacity to hide data, poor stego image quality, and imperceptibility. The proposed algorithm focuses...

A new steganographic method for color and grayscale image hiding

In this paper, we present a steganographic method for embedding a color or a grayscale image in a true color image. Three types of secret images can be carried by the proposed method: hiding a color secret image, hiding a palette-based 256-color secret image, and hiding a grayscale image in a true color image. Secret data are protected by the conventional crypto system DES. We compare the image...

An Image High Capacity Steganographic Methods By Modified OPA Algorithm And Haar Wavelet Transform

Steganography is the art and science of hidingcommunication; a steganographic system thus embeds hidden content in unremarkable cover media so as not to arouse an eavesdropper’s suspicion. In the past, people used hidden tattoos or invisible ink to convey steganographic content. Using steganography, information can be hidden in different embedding mediums, known as carriers. These carriers can ...
