Implicit Surface Painting
نویسنده
چکیده
Implicit painting is a non photorealistic rendering method for painting implicit surfaces The method is based on the fact that when a di erence equation is applied to a set of particles these particles will move in D space The motion of the particles is viewed as the motion of the hands of several painters and the trajectories of the particles as long unbroken brush strokes over the implicit surfaces These sur faces are used as if they are the canvases of painters We consider implicit surface painting as a creative or artistic process in which the resulting artwork can be an image a stereo image or even an animation that shows the painting process

Enhancing Interactive Editing on Point Set Surfaces Through Touch-based Haptics
This paper presents a unique modeling paradigm for hapticsbased editing on point set surfaces. In essence, the proposed technique leads to a novel methodology that collectively takes advantage of the potential of implicit surfaces, the strength of physics-based modeling techniques, the simplicity of point sampled surfaces, and the realm of haptic feedback. In particular, the point set surface i...

Implicit painting is a non-photorealistic rendering method for painting implicitly represented CSG solids. The method is based on the fact that when a difference equation is applied to a set of particles these particles will move in 3D space. We view the motion of the particles as the motion of the hands of several painters and the trajectories of the particles as long unbroken brush strokes, o...

d for more than three thousand years, Chinese painting emphasizes "implicit meaning", and painters’ using a minimal number of brush strokes to express their deepest feelings. Landscapes of the most important themes in Chinese painting. Trees are the essential painting objects. This resents a set of novel methods to automatically draw trees in Chinese ink painting from 3D al models. Outline rend...
متن کاملAnalyzing the Painting of “The Story of Yusof & Zoleikha” by Kamal al-Din Behzad According to Transtextuality Theory of Gerard
Transtextuality theory of Gerard Genette offered a systematic classification in the field of intertextuality studies. This theory includes five main parts: Intertextuality, Paratextuality, Metatextuality, Architextuality and Hypertextuality. In this article one of Kamal al-Din Behzad’s artworks, namely “The Story of Yusof & Zoleikha” has been analyzed by these five parts of Transtextuality theo...
متن کاملRestoration of X-ray fluorescence images of hidden paintings
This paper describes our methods for repairing and restoring images of hidden paintings (paintings that have been painted over and are now covered by a new surface painting) that have been obtained via noninvasive X-ray fluorescence imaging of their canvases. This recently developed imaging technique measures the concentrations of various chemical elements at each two-dimensional spatial locati...
