چکیده

The behavior of excess electrozis in supercritical ethane was investigated by measiuing mobility and reaction rates. Nobilities were measured by means of a time-of-flight method at 306-320K as a function of pressure. Mobility values decreased at all temperatures with increasing pressure, but showed a small minimum or a shoulder at the pressure where the .. .. .. compressmmy X7has a peak. Activation volumes Va*and reaction volumes AVr are very large and negative in the critical region. The volume change is mainly due to electrostriction around ions formed. The results are compared to volume changes predicted by, a compressible continuum model.

Dynamics of Electrons in Free Electron Laser with Square Core Waveguides

Due to sensitive and important applications of free-electron laser in industry and medicine, improvement of the power and efficiency of laser has always been emphasized. Therefore, understanding the created field and examining the properties of the field in waveguides with different shapes and studying the sustainability of electrons movement are particularly important. In this study, the beh...

Dynamics of Entanglement between Linearly Polarized Photons and π -Electrons in Graphene

In the present article we report the dynamical behavior of entanglement between π-electrons and photons in Graphene. It is shown that the degree of such entanglements depend on the orientation of π-electron momenta relative to the photonic polarization. Moreover, we show that as the detuning between the π-electron transition frequencies and that of the photons is increased, the degree of entang...

Estimation of Secondary Skin Cancer Risk Due To Electron Contamination in 18-MV LINAC-Based Prostate Radiotherapy

Introduction Accurate estimation of the skin-absorbed dose in external radiation therapy is essential to estimating the probability of secondary carcinogenesis induction Materials and Methods Electron contamination in prostate radiotherapy was investigated using the Monte Carlo (MC) code calculation. In addition, field size dependence of the skin dose was assessed. Excess cancer risk induced by...

Dynamics and reactivity of trapped electrons on supported ice crystallites.

The solvation dynamics and reactivity of localized excess electrons in aqueous environments have attracted great attention in many areas of physics, chemistry, and biology. This manifold attraction results from the importance of water as a solvent in nature as well as from the key role of low-energy electrons in many chemical reactions. One prominent example is the electron-induced dissociation...

Barrier-free intermolecular proton transfer in the uracil-glycine complex induced by excess electron attachment

The photoelectron spectra (PES) of anions of uracil-glycine and uracil-phenylalanine complexes reveal broad features with maxima at 1.8 and 2.0 eV. The results of ab initio density functional B3LYP and second order Møller-Plesset theory calculations indicate that the excess electron occupies a π∗ orbital localized on uracil. The excess electron attachment to the complex can induce a barrier-fre...
