چکیده

We report on the thermal decomposition of uncapped, ultrathin HfO2 films grown by chemical vapor deposition on SiO2 /Si(100) substrates. Medium energy ion scattering, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy were used to examine the films after they had been annealed in vacuum to 900–1050 °C. Film decomposition is a strong function of the HfO2 overlayer thickness at a given temperature, but the underlying SiO2 layer thickness does not significantly affect the thermal stability of the HfO2 film. Oxygen diffusion in the system was monitored by O/O isotopic labeling methods. Direct evidence of silicide formation is observed upon decomposition. © 2003 American Institute of Physics. @DOI: 10.1063/1.1578525#

Soft x-ray photoemission studies of the HfO2 ÕSiO2 ÕSi system

Soft x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy with synchrotron radiation was employed to study the valence-band offsets for the HfO2 /SiO2 /Si and HfO2 /SiOxNy /Si systems. We obtained a valence-band offset difference of 21.0560.1 eV between HfO2 ~in HfO2/15 Å SiO2 /Si! and SiO2 ~in 15 Å SiO2 /Si!. There is no measurable difference between the HfO2 valence-band maximum positions of the HfO2/10 Å SiOxNy...

بررسی رفتار حرارتی آمونیوم پرکلرات میکرونیزه تولید ‌شده با روش تبلور ضد‌ حلال بهبود ‌یافته

Ammonium perchlorate (AP) is considered as a strong oxidizer in solid propellants. Therefore, its thermal decomposition characteristics directly influence the combustion behavior of solid propellants. The AP particle size, shape, and morphology influence on the thermal behavior. In this study, the solvent anti-solvent crystallization method equipped with an eductor mixer was used as a system fo...

Synthesis and investigation the thermal behavior thermodynamically of new metal Complex of Cobalt nitrate

Increasing the molecular accumulation and density of high-energy substances have a determinative role in improving the performance and intensity of energy release. Therefore, it is possible to increase the density of high-energy materials if the high-energy molecules can be arranged around a metal core as coordinated molecules. The aim of this project was to synthesize energetic complexes of cy...
