Post-doc proposal Blind and unsupervised detector calibration for satellite imaging

چکیده
Preliminary works have already been performed between IRCCyN, IRAP and CNES. In particular, the paper [1] proposes a blind estimation method under the assumption of a purely linear response. A possible direction of the proposed project could be to generalize the latter method. On the one hand, an affine model would be more realistic. On the other hand, a totally unsupervised method would be preferable. Finally, a dedicated, fast optimization method should be proposed. The obtained performance in terms of estimation quality will be compared on real satellite images with existing destriping methods.

متن کامل A novel approach to automatic position calibration for pixelated crystals in gamma imaging
Introduction: The position estimation in gamma detection system will have constant misplacements which can be corrected in the calibration procedure. In the pixelated crystal uniformly irradiation of detector will produce irregular shape due to position estimation errors. This image is called flood field image and is used to calibrate the position estimation. In this work we pr...

The linear array push broom imaging mode is widely used for high resolution optical satellites (HROS). Using double-cameras attached by a high-rigidity support along with push broom imaging is one method to enlarge the field of view while ensuring high resolution. High accuracy image mosaicking is the key factor of the geometrical quality of complete stitched satellite imagery. This paper propo...
