The mononuclear g-cyclopentadienyl complexes [(g-C5H5)Ru(PPh3)2Cl], [(g-C5H5)Os(PPh3)2Br] and pentamethylcyclopentadienyl complex [(g-C Me )Ru(PPh ) Cl] react in the presence of 1 eq. of the 5 is(2-py g-C5H 3)(bppC5Me5)R xes [(g e of NH 6 ([4]P rC6H4M ion wit ]BF4 ([8 en cha r struct ies and tetradentate N,N0-chelating ligand 3,5-b to afford the mononuclear complexes [( H)]PF6 ([2]PF6) and [(g-C5Me5)Ru(PPh ethylcyclopentadienyl complexes [(gdinuclear g-arene ruthenium comple react with 2 eq. of bpp-H in the presenc complexes [(g-C5Me5)Rh(bpp-H)Cl]PF Ru(bpp-H)Cl]BF4 ([6]BF4) and [(g-p-P of 1 eq. of bpp-H and NH4BF4 the react dinuclear salts [(g-C6H6)2Ru2(bpp)Cl2 respectively.
