چکیده

This paper summarizes the audio part of the 2011 communitybased Signal Separation Evaluation Campaign (SiSEC2011). Four speech and music datasets were contributed, including datasets recorded in noisy or dynamic environments and a subset of the SiSEC2010 datasets. The participants addressed one or more tasks out of four source separation tasks, and the results for each task were evaluated using different objective performance criteria. We provide an overview of the audio datasets, tasks and criteria. We also report the results achieved with the submitted systems, and discuss organization strategies for future campaigns.

The 2011 Signal Separation Evaluation Campaign (SiSEC2011): - Biomedical Data Analysis -

This paper summarizes the bio part of the 2011 community based Signal Separation Evaluation Campaign (SiSEC2011). Two different data sets were given. In the first task, participants were asked to estimate the causal relations of underlying sources from simulated bivariate EEG data. In the second task, participants were asked to reconstruct signaling pathways or parts of it from the microarray e...

The 2010 Signal Separation Evaluation Campaign (SiSEC2010): Audio Source Separation

This paper introduces the audio part of the 2010 communitybased Signal Separation Evaluation Campaign (SiSEC2010). Seven speech and music datasets were contributed, which include datasets recorded in noisy or dynamic environments, in addition to the SiSEC2008 datasets. The source separation problems were split into five tasks, and the results for each task were evaluated using different objecti...

First Stereo Audio Source Separation Evaluation Campaign: Data, Algorithms and Results

This article provides an overview of the first stereo audio source separation evaluation campaign, organized by the authors. Fifteen underdetermined stereo source separation algorithms have been applied to various audio data, including instantaneous, convolutive and real mixtures of speech or music sources. The data and the algorithms are presented and the estimated source signals are compared ...

The 2010 Signal Separation Evaluation Campaign (SiSEC2010): Biomedical Source Separation

We present an overview of the biomedical part of the 2010 community-based Signal Separation Evaluation Campaign (SiSEC2010), coordinated by the authors. In addition to the audio tasks which have been evaluated in the previous SiSEC, SiSEC2010 considered several biomedical tasks. Here, three biomedical datasets from molecular biology (gene expression profiles) and neuroscience (EEG) were contrib...

Blind Signal Separation Using an Extended Infomax Algorithm

The Infomax algorithm is a popular method in blind source separation problem. In this article an extension of the Infomax algorithm is proposed that is able to separate mixed signals with any sub- or super-Gaussian distributions. This ability is the results of using two different nonlinear functions and new coefficients in the learning rule. In this paper we show how we can use the distribution...
