چکیده
Polycrystalline samples of Gd-modified Lead Zirconate Titanate [PGZT; Pb1-xGdx(Zr0.65Ti0.35)1-x/4O3] ceramics (where, x = 0.00, 0.06 and 0.09) were prepared using high temperature mixed oxide method at sintering temperature 1450 K. Preliminary structural analysis through X-ray diffraction technique suggests their formation in single phase tetragonal crystal system at room temperature. From the temperature-frequency dependence of dielectric properties, the materials exhibit very high dielectric constant (εr) at a very low tangent/power loss. The ferroelectric to paraelectric phase transition is found to be well above the room temperature which enables it suitable for capacitive applications. AC-Conductivity of the materials has been investigated at different temperatures and frequencies. KeywordsPZT; PGZT; XRD; Dielectric constant; Tangent loss, AC-Conductivity

متن کاملThe Effect of Acceptor and Donor Doping on Oxygen Vacancy Concentrations in Lead Zirconate Titanate (PZT)
The different properties of acceptor-doped (hard) and donor-doped (soft) lead zirconate titanate (PZT) ceramics are often attributed to different amounts of oxygen vacancies introduced by the dopant. Acceptor doping is believed to cause high oxygen vacancy concentrations, while donors are expected to strongly suppress their amount. In this study, La3+ donor-doped, Fe3+ acceptor-doped and La3+/F...
