چکیده

We report the complete genome sequence of a classical swine fever virus (genogroup 2.1), isolated from an outbreak in Assam, India. This particular isolate showed a high degree of genetic variation within the subgenogroup 2.1 and may serve as a potential reference strain of the 2.1 genogroup of classical swine fever virus (CSFV) in the Indian subcontinent.

Production and characterization of monoclonal antibodies against a local isolate of classical swine fever virus.

Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against a classical swine fever virus (CSFV; subgenogroup 1:1) isolate from Assam, India were produced and characterized. Four fusions of myeloma cells (SP2/0Ag) were made with spleenocytes of 8-10 weeks old BALB/C mice immunized with the viral antigen. Several hybridoma clones secreting antibodies to the virus were obtained after four fusions, but five hybridoma cl...

Complete Genome Sequence of an Indian Field Isolate of Classical Swine Fever Virus Belonging to Subgenotype 1.1

We report the complete genome sequence of an Indian field isolate of classical swine fever virus (CSFV) belonging to predominant subgenotype 1.1 prevalent in India. This report will help in understanding the molecular diversity of CSFV strains circulating worldwide and to select and develop a suitable vaccine candidate for classical swine fever (CSF) control in India.

Whole-Genome Sequence of a Classical Swine Fever Virus Isolated from the Uttarakhand State of India

We report the first complete genome sequence of a classical swine fever (CSF) virus of subgenotype 2.2. The virus (CSFV/IND/UK/LAL-290) was isolated from the Uttarakhand state of India from a backyard pig suspected of having CSF. This genome sequence will give useful insight for future molecular epidemiological studies and the development of an effective vaccine in India.

Complete Genome Sequence of Classical Swine Fever Virus Isolated near the Demilitarized Zone in the Republic of Korea

The YC16CS (genotype 2.1) strain of classical swine fever virus, isolated from infected pigs in Yeoncheon province, Republic of Korea, near the demilitarized zone, has a high identity with the PC11WB strain of the virus. This is significant in that it is the first case of transmission from wild boars to breed pigs revealed by an epidemiological investigation.

Genome Sequence of Classical Swine Fever Virus Genotype 1.1 with a Genetic Marker of Attenuation Detected in a Continuous Porcine Cell Line

The complete genome sequencing and analysis of a classical swine fever virus (CSFV) detected in a porcine kidney cell line revealed a close relationship with genotype 1.1 viruses circulating in India and China. The presence of consecutive T insertions in the 3' untranslated region (UTR), as seen in vaccine strains of CSFV, suggested some degree of attenuation.
