CRL's Approach to MET
نویسنده
چکیده
From February to April CRL carried out investigations into the modification of our l~n~Hsh name recognition software developed for MUC-6 [1] to Chinese and Spanish. In addition a Japanese system, developed under Tipster Phase I [2], was modified to comply with the MET task. Finally learning methods developed for MUC-6 were adapted to handle Chinese. All systems performed with good levels of accuracy and it is clear that further Dining and refinement, for which there was no time or resources, would lead to even higher levels of pe~forma.nc¢.

متن کاملA Model to Evaluate Certificate Revocation
This paper presents a model to evaluate certificate revocation using certificate revocation lists (CRL's) of the X.509 standard. The model shows the relationship between the number of users managed by a Certificate Authorities (CA) and the size of the revocation lists, the computation power of the CA and the necessary bandwidth to access the revoked certificates.
متن کاملA computational molecular approach on chitosan vehicle for metformin
Density functional theory (DFT) calculations have been performed to study properties of chitosan (Chit) as a possible vehicle for carrying metformin (Met) drug. To this aim, the singular molecules of Met and Chit have been first optimized and sixteen possible bimolecular complexes have been subsequently constructed and optimized to obtaine the stabilized interacting structures. Two bimolecular ...
متن کاملCRL's TREC-8 Systems Cross-Lingual IR, and Q&A
This paper describes the systems used by CRL in the Cross-lingual IR and Q&A tracks. The cross-language experiment was unique in that it was run interactively with a mono-lingual user simulating how a true cross-language system might be used. The methods used in the Q&A system are based on language processing technology developed at CRL for machine translation and information extraction.
متن کاملThe Level of Mesenchymal-Epithelial Transition Autophosphorylation is Correlated with Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma Migration
Background: The MET receptor is a critical member of cancer-associated RTKs and plays an important role in different biological activities, including differentiation, migration, and cell proliferation. Methods: In this study, novel MET inhibitors were introduced and applied on esophageal squamous carcinoma cell line KYSE-30, and the level of proliferation and migration, as well as the activated...
