*1 IMT-Advanced: A standard positioned as the successor to IMT-2000 at International Telecommunication Union Radiocommunication sector (ITU-R). It calls for data rates of about 100 Mbit/s for high mobility and 1 Gbit/s for low mobility. *2 ad hoc network: A network in which several mobile terminals communicate without any dedicated infrastructures such as base stations or access points. *3 UWB:A wireless communication system featuring location-measurement, radar and highspeed-communication functions capable of several hundred Mbit/s to several Gbit/s at short range.
