چکیده
the paroxysm falls with greatest force upon the abdominal viscera, although it cannot be said that the contents of the thorax or cranium altogether escape. Storms of this kind, recurring during a succession of malarious seasons, tend to lower the muscular tone of all the vascular channels-?more especially the arterioles, and to weaken the organs of digestion and assimilation, ending sooner or later, according to the original vigour of the constitution, in imperfect nutrition of the blood and of the system generally.
